Fun Friday Session

Its getting cold in New Hampshire, it’s the season where you fight through water-filled eyes on the first few runs and when the hats and hoodies have to stay on all day. We are basically counting down the days till the trails are unridable, but today Johnny was able to snap a few photos of us flowing through some lines.

Adam Spitalny and Andy Politis found some time between work and the school books to spend the day with us.  Starting the day with an hour of raking and pulling off tarps here is how the rest of the day looked! Great to see Andy back on track after recovering from a recently broken hand.

D-Rail Update

By no means should anyone count on our site for D-Rail updates, But he is still unable to have surgery on his severed spine due to the weakness of his lungs.  He has shattered ribs and shoulders.  He is fighting pneumonia.  And got a tracheotomy done today so that should help him feel better.  His Doctors are hoping to be able to do spinal surgery by mid week.  He needs our help, go to www.pullthroughdarryl.com to help with his hospital bills.  He is the same kind of athlete and friend as Mike Aitken and Steven Murray, so us BMX dudes should help D-RAIL to!

Heavy Mods

Two of us, Joel and Johnny made some big modifications to the trail now known as OVERKILL.  It’s new name comes from the amount of dirt we moved this weekend.  The trail that was once called Fox Trot or New Log Run is now gone.   Over the last month we built the last two jumps so huge that the top four were way to small, so we rebuilt everything  up top to the point of overkill to make sure the two twenty-eights would be clearable at the bottom.

In other news we are getting snow and rain mix today, but it ain’t over yet! We still have some wicked wild stunts and clips to finish before we shut the trails down and move to dig only season.

Rave X Outer Limits Tour

Johnny- This past weekend Zak left for Dew Tour in Orlando FL, and Joel went to his brothers wedding, so I went to the NHSA Grassdrags.  I’ve been into snowmobiles forever and I’ve been going to the grassdrags and watercross racing for the last four years in Freemont NH.  I really only go to watch the Freestyle Sno X demo every year and this year it was sick as hell as usual until one of the riders crashed.

I got one Epic photo of three dudes from the Rave X team roasting off the super kicker in the air at the same time. I love pics like this.

This dude is bad ass on the Yamaha.

These photos below are of D-RAIL, Darryl Tait.  This dude was shreddin hard so I was most successful getting pics of him.  The hole team was putting on an amazing show and the crowd was going nuts.

D-Rail floated this Back Flip about mid way through the demo and under rotated enough so his skies were pointed straight down at impact. He flew past the top of the landing to the flat bottom on his chest with his Skidoo comming down on top of him. Not  a good scene.  Definitely the most depressing sight to see, ever.  He was taken to the hospital in a medical helicopter.  D-Rail is currently in the hospital waiting for his lungs to get strong enough for surgery on his spine.  He fucking Shreds and I hope he rides again.
